Shipping & Crating

Shipping sculpture requires more than just getting it from point A to point B—it requires careful planning, protection, and an understanding of how each piece needs to be handled in transit. At ART Research Enterprises, we design and build custom crating solutions tailored to the specific needs of each project.

Every sculpture is evaluated based on scale, weight, finish, and fragility. From there, we develop a crating approach that ensures stability, protection, and safe handling throughout transport. This can include padded interiors, reinforced structures, and custom supports designed to minimize movement and reduce risk.

We coordinate shipping logistics with trusted carriers and fine art handlers, managing details such as orientation, loading requirements, and delivery conditions. For larger or more complex works, we also plan for rigging, equipment needs, and site coordination at both origin and destination.

Because we are involved from fabrication through installation, we understand how packing decisions impact the final outcome. Our goal is simple: to ensure each piece arrives safely, in the same condition it left our studio, and ready for installation.
