We recently had the honor of bringing artist Blessing Hancock’s latest work, Civitas, to life—a 14-foot stainless steel sculpture now installed at the Lewisville Public Safety Building in Lewisville, Texas.
The process began in our shop, where every curve was cut, welded, ground, and shaped with precision. Stainless steel’s strength and reflective surface made it the perfect material to capture the flowing patterns in Blessing’s intricate design. After weeks of fabrication, the sculpture was securely wrapped and carefully transported across states to its new home.
Now standing tall, Civitas shines by day and glows in shifting colors at night, its details illuminated from every angle. It took many skilled hands to fabricate, transport, and install this piece, and we’re proud to have played a part in bringing Blessing’s vision to life.
