This weekend, Franklin & Marshall College celebrates its 239th Commencement, welcoming the Class of 2026 to a moment of reflection, celebration, and new beginnings. We are proud to see Ampersand serving as part of that experience, bringing students, families, alumni, and friends together during such a memorable occasion.
Fabricated here in Lancaster, the stainless-steel sculpture features a satin finish and polished highlighted edges that catch the light, offering a different experience from every angle.
Projects like this are especially meaningful because they become woven into the life of a place. Whether serving as a gathering point, a backdrop for photos, or simply a familiar presence on campus, the Ampersand was created to continue connecting the Franklin & Marshall College community during milestone moments for years to come.
As commencement weekend unfolds, we couldn’t be prouder to see the sculpture play a role in such an important chapter for the campus community.
