This week in the studio, we had the pleasure of welcoming back artist Steve Simmons, a longtime collaborator whose creative vision we’ve had the honor of helping bring to life through numerous public artworks over the years. His return inspired us to revisit one of our favorite past projects together: Love Pyramid.
Standing at an impressive 8 feet tall, Love Pyramid is a bold, geometric sculpture that radiates both visual impact and heartfelt meaning. Composed of two stacked pyramidal forms, this vibrant red steel sculpture is inscribed with the word “love” in multiple languages—from Hindi and Hebrew to French, Swahili, Arabic, and beyond. It’s a powerful tribute to the universality of love, speaking across cultures and languages with elegance and strength.
Fabricated from precision-cut and welded steel and finished with a brilliant red powder coat, this sculpture is both visually striking and structurally enduring—made to stand the test of time as a public artwork. It’s been a privilege for our fabrication team to help realize Steve’s vision for this piece, translating conceptual form into a physical monument that speaks to connection, inclusion, and the beauty of language.
We’ve worked closely with Steve on many projects like Love Pyramid, and it’s always a joy to help bring his ideas into the world. As he embarks on a new sculpture with us, we’re excited to share more soon. Until then, we hope this look back at one of our past collaborations reminds you of the power of art to communicate what words alone sometimes cannot.
Stay tuned for updates from the studio and a glimpse of what’s coming next!
