Metal sculpture that is going to be displayed outdoors needs to be protected from environmental hazards. Rain, sunlight, landscape and wildlife can all pose a threat to the finished surface.
Painted surfaces require a tough, durable clear coat to protect the underlying color. Metals such as stainless steel or bronze, which typically has a chemical patina applied, should be protected with a light coat of sculpture wax. We have developed our own wax specifically formulated to prevent damage and deterioration.
