This week, we welcomed him back to our facility with his latest creation, <em>\u201c3 Feathers on the Breath of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The piece, a striking composition of three intertwined feathers, arrived ready for the first step in its transformation\u2014digital scanning. Using our advanced scanning technology, every curve, ridge, and fine line of Grainger\u2019s intricate carving is captured in precise detail. This digital model will serve as the foundation for producing two large-scale sculptures: a 6-foot bronze and a towering 17-foot stainless steel version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both sculptures are destined for installation in Sumter, North Carolina, about a year from now. Until then, the journey has only just begun.
